Javier Rubio

A bilingual native Texan, Javier Rubio holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from the University of Texas at El Paso. His early career began in service, volunteering as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for children in CPS cases. This led him to Austin, where he took on the challenging role of a full-time CPS Investigator, focusing on abuse and neglect cases. Working high-profile cases, the work taught him the critical value of rapid response, strong communication, and relentless advocacy for those he served.

Homeownership wasn’t initially part of his plan, after becoming debt-free, his heart was set on seeing the world and experiencing cities like a local in every place he visited. But when the world shut down in 2020, everything shifted. His 747-square-foot apartment became both his office and his world. While studying to become a Financial Advisor, he started exploring ways to diversify beyond traditional investments. That’s when real estate caught his attention. With curiosity and determination, he immersed himself in learning the ins and outs of the market and made his first real estate investment during one of the most unpredictable times in the industry. The lessons he learned saved him thousands and now, he brings that same level of dedication and strategy to every client he serves.

Though he's currently pressing pause on his travel dreams to focus on building his business, he’s found a deep sense of purpose and joy in this work. Whether you're buying, selling, or investing, he's ready to advocate for you with the same tenacity and care he’d offer his own family. 

Javier is a member of an advisory group, Young Professionals Network, with the Austin Board of Realtors, where he is responsible for the planning of educational events for real estate agents in the Austin market. Javier also volunteers as a Manager & Liaison for South by South-West festival (SXSW) and helps run world premiere films run smoothly throughout the event.
