Ryan Smith

Ryan Smith is a third-generation real estate professional serving Greater Nashville, with a focus on Franklin, Brentwood, and Williamson County. He earned a degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California.

After graduating, Ryan began his real estate career in Malibu. His team was part of the Aaron Kirman Group at Christie’s International Real Estate, the #1 real estate team in Greater Los Angeles with more than $24 billion in sales. During his six years in Southern California, he met his wife, Ashley, who was born and raised in Thousand Oaks. Ryan brings firsthand perspective to clients relocating from Southern California and the Chicago area, where he grew up, along with a strong understanding of the differences in lifestyle, housing, and communities across these markets.

Real estate has been part of Ryan’s family for nearly a century. His grandfather established a successful custom homebuilding business in Chicagoland in the 1940s, which his uncle later carried on, building luxury custom homes throughout Chicago’s North Shore in partnership with Ryan’s mother, an interior designer. His family remains deeply rooted in real estate, with one cousin running a successful home inspection business and another a top-producing Realtor. Ryan has an appreciation for quality, craftsmanship, and long-term value, along with an understanding of how homes are built, evaluated, and marketed, helping his clients make informed decisions with clarity and confidence.
