Ryan Smith

Ryan Smith earned a degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University and brings a strong foundation in business to his real estate career, serving clients throughout Greater Nashville. 

Ryan is a third-generation real estate professional, with deep family roots in the industry spanning nearly a century. His grandfather began his career as a realtor in the 1940s before transitioning into luxury custom home building. That legacy continued through Ryan’s family, including experience in construction, development, interior design, home inspection, and high-level residential sales. It’s in his blood. Growing up around every stage of the home lifecycle has given him a well-rounded perspective and a strong appreciation for quality, craftsmanship, and long-term value, along with an instinctive understanding of how homes are built, evaluated, and improved.

Before real estate, Ryan gained experience in luxury men’s fashion and premium boutique fitness sales, where he worked closely with clients who value quality and service. That background translates directly into his career today, shaping his attention to detail, communication style, and a highly personalized approach that extends well beyond the transaction.

Ryan is originally from the Chicagoland area and spent six years living in Southern California. During his time there, he met his wife, who was born and raised in Thousand Oaks. He offers a unique perspective for clients relocating to Tennessee, with a firsthand understanding of the differences in lifestyle, pace, and housing across these markets, helping clients navigate that transition with clarity and confidence.

Ryan is now based in Franklin with his wife, Ashley, and their husky, Taz. In his free time, he enjoys hiking at Harlinsdale Park, working out at the YMCA, catching live music, and discovering the best local burger spots.
