Born in Southern California and raised on Vancouver Island, Joel’s path back to the desert has been shaped by a lifelong passion for golf, competition, and building meaningful relationships. After earning a golf scholarship to Cal State San Marcos, Joel moved to the Coachella Valley in 2018 to pursue a career in the golf industry.

His experience includes working at one of the valley’s premier private golf clubs, followed by several years in sales with TaylorMade Golf, where he represented the brand throughout the Coachella Valley. Those years gave Joel an intimate understanding of the desert golf lifestyle and, more importantly, taught him the value of exceptional service, trusted relationships, and delivering results in a highly competitive environment.

That foundation made real estate a natural next step. For the past four years, Joel has built his real estate career in the Coachella Valley, including three years representing buyers and sellers as part of Hideaway Golf Club’s on-site real estate team, Hideaway Properties. His experience within one of the desert’s most prestigious private club communities has given him a unique perspective on golf community real estate and the lifestyle that draws buyers from around the country and beyond.

As a resident of La Quinta’s Mountain View Country Club, Joel doesn’t simply sell the desert lifestyle—he lives it. His firsthand knowledge of the area’s premier golf communities, combined with his competitive nature, strong sales background, and relationship-first approach, allows him to provide clients with thoughtful guidance and confident representation at every stage of a transaction.
