I bring to my real estate career a diverse array of talents - spanning design, marketing, sales, construction, and creative thinking - all cultivated from a rich tapestry of life pursuits.
In my early twenties, I refined my contract negotiation skills within Asian garment factories, serving as the design and production manager for Brittania Sportswear’s women’s line. Later, as a jazz singer and producer, I served as promoter for myself and numerous cherished Seattle musicians. My passion for wooden boats garnered international recognition from my authorship of two books on wooden boat finishing - one now deemed the definitive work on varnishing. I have contributed to non-profit boards, crafting imaginative marketing campaigns and materials for effective outreach. And with an innate talent for design and a love of the built environment, I have transformed properties that consistently achieved record sales in their respective neighborhoods.
My journey in real estate commenced in 1988 as a co-investor, contractor, and lead carpenter. Over 37 years, I have personally rebuilt 15 properties. In 1998, after eight years as a broker’s assistant, I became a licensed broker, serving both residential and commercial clients.
As a member of NWMLS, my residential clientele has included a spectrum ranging from teachers and firefighters to industry leaders and tech pioneers. As a member of CBA, my commercial dealings have encompassed everything from multifamily residential and mixed-use retail to deconsecrated churches and industrial machining facilities.
My guiding principle has always been to explore the possibilities with a focus on win-win outcomes, both as a real estate professional and as a fellow human being. I feel honored by my clients' trust in my work and endeavor to maintain that trust with each and every transaction.
