The purchase of this house involved some tense negotiations and here is where Adam was such an asset. "“Consummate professional” is the perfect way to describe Adam. We fell in love with a new construction townhome in Boston but new isn’t all it’s cracked up to be (especially in 2020 with Covid shutting down the country). We wanted to snag the last home in this project but I wasn’t able to see it during the open house. Through his relationships, Adam connected with the selling agent and we learned there was another offer and were able to put an offer in contingent on me seeing it. We needed to put in a best and final and Adam helped us find a number that was comfortable for us but also competitive and our offer was accepted! However, the units were sold before completion and with Covid affecting the builder’s staff and subcontractors and with 3 other townhomes under contract before us we were in for lots of surprises! We compiled our punchlist and Adam did all the work with the attorneys and seller’s agent to ensure we held back money for projects that couldn’t be completed before the closing. Adam arranged to have the builder meet us at the unit to provide comfort that the punchlist items would be completed properly. To our surprise, the day of closing, most of the items were still outstanding. Adam did not put any pressure on us to close and worked with our attorney to move the closing and express our dissatisfaction to the selling agent. This was super emotional and stressful and Adam was supportive and took the initiative to monitor the progress personally!! This was above and beyond and we are very happy with our new place, new neighbors and neighborhood! Thank you, Adam!!!"
"Over a series of months, Adam did a great job helping to sell my parents' condo. The place was in poor condition, but he did a very good job identifying what to improve or fix and what to leave to the buyer to update. He did a terrific job overseeing a significant amount of work to get the place ready to be sold, and he knew the right people to call to get the work done promptly and well. And then when it came time to list, he did a great job employing comps to set the right price to get it sold quickly, with minimal stress, and for a good price. About Adam
I have been a residential Realtor for 19+ years, focusing my work with buyers, sellers, investors, and developers. Since the start of 2022 I have worked as a Senior Sales Partner on a team at Compass Realty called The Muncey Group.
I possess a unique skillset that I believe sets me apart from many other Realtors. Those who know me best would describe me as someone that has patience, is not in any way pushy or salesy, is a great listener and is empathetic. My core belief is that it is always about what is in the best interest of my clients.
In 2010 I obtained my Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) certification. My goal was to focus a portion of my real estate practice working with this ever-expanding demographic. As seniors and the Baby Boomer generations continue to age, this subset of real estate is changing. How these groups go about deciding where and how to live is going to become a major factor in real estate in the next decade. I have developed valuable contacts and created deep relationships in the senior care community. I feel I have the personality, skill set and understanding to be an advocate and resource for my clients who meet these criteria.
In 2020 I became a Certified Divorce Specialist. In this role I help individuals with their real estate needs/challenges during the difficult process of separation and divorce. Much like my work as an SRES, this type of real estate is more collaborative with many different people working as a team to help the client navigate through an emotional and challenging time in their lives.
I was born and raised in Newton, MA and attended Ithaca College’s Park School of Communications. For the past 20+ years I have lived in JP. I truly love the diversity and sense of community JP has to offer and cannot image a better neighborhood to call home.
When I’m not working hard for my clients, I spend time with my Goldendoodle Riley who is a therapy dog. Together we visit hospitals, colleges and various other institutions and help make people feel better. I also enjoy playing golf, seeing movies and spending time on Cape Cod where my family owns a home.
