Alan Friedman is an Executive Managing Director in the New York office of Compass, specializing in office leasing. He brings more than 25 years of commercial real estate experience and a strong track record representing both tenants and landlords across Manhattan and Brooklyn.
Prior to joining Compass, Mr. Friedman served as an Executive Managing Director at Lee & Associates, where he played a key role in the firm’s New York office beginning in 2017. Before that, he was an Executive Managing Director at ABS Partners Real Estate, LLC, where, in addition to his transactional brokerage work, he served as the leasing and managing agent for 200 Park Avenue South, a 305,000-square-foot office building in Union Square with more than 50 tenants.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Friedman was a Vice President at CBRE, where he spent over a decade advising clients on office leasing strategies and negotiations .Mr. Friedman holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland and an MBA in Finance from Fordham University. He is licensed to practice real estate in the State of New York and is an active member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY). He also serves as a Board Member of Bronx House Community Center and as a Senior Advisor to the Fordham University Center for Jewish Studies.
