About Alana
Alana brings a wealth of knowledge to her real estate practice. As a licensed agent for more than 20 years, and an extensive understanding of building practices, she is able to keep her clients informed. She and her husband, a licensed contractor/builder, have partnered to build, renovate and flip houses in the local market. Originally from upstate New York, Alana came to the DC area to attend college at Catholic University and fell in love with the area. She taught in DC Public Schools for a number of years before becoming a full time licensed agent. She has lived in Kensington since 2000 and specializes in Montgomery County and the DC market, preferring the personal connection and high standard of service that comes with a boutique brokerage experience. Alana has also done specialized design work for private clients and has a background in architecture and a general love of homes. When she is not finding her clients the perfect home, she can be found managing her teens, hosting friends and family at her home, or just hanging out, reading on her front porch that she and her husband built.
