"Southern California is not known for having deep roots; it’s an arid, sandy place where plants as well as people grow quickly and then move along. It’s an unforgiving land at the eastern edge but it forgives a little bit towards the end. And then it drops right off into the ocean. That little sliver of forgiveness that we call L.A. is where Albert T. Hickman reigns from and where he’ll likely always be.
He made his debut appearance in Real Estate after founding a non-profit that lifts up artists - he’s been referred to as Father Teresa for his altruistic approach to economics and arts. Before that he spent the best years of his life as a touring musician, doing what the luckiest of us have had the chance to do - get supremely acquainted with the people of our country and then entertain them. He is a people person to the nth degree. He is beloved by all who have the pleasure to know him and he’s as helpful as he is celebrated. We recruited him to Compass to join myself and Bobby Rodriguez on the Eastside L.A. team. His knowledge of everything ‘Los Angeles’ will be an incredible asset to the team."
