"Alex is remarkable at what he does. As first-time home buyers, we honestly did not know where to begin in this tough market. Before anything else, Alex sat down with us and helped us understand what was realistic based on our situation. He helped us to think through our priorities and strategize based on location and home type. For someone who is so knowledgeable, he patiently and accessibly answered our many questions. He was incredibly responsive throughout the whole process and talked us through all the options until handing over the keys. At each step of the way he far exceeded any expectations we had for a realtor. We would highly recommend him to anyone!" - Jessica

"Alex is an exceptional real estate agent. His expertise and knowledge on all matters related to buying and selling real estate is unparalleled. He has extensive experience from raw land purchases and new construction builds to existing homes, condos, and townhouses. We are builder clients who continually depend on Alex’s market analyses. He has represented us on multiple deals and we can’t imagine working with anyone else. He is more than an agent – he is a resource and someone you want on your team! We strongly recommend Alex to anyone looking to buy or sell in the area."

"I know people often throw terms like this around, but honestly things could not have been easier or gone any better in terms of working with Alex. He was outstanding in every step of the process! He took a ton of pressure off of us as he patiently walked us through each of the individual steps of the process, making sure to offer his input and advice when requested. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone or work with him again myself!" - Matt

"Alex was exceptionally helpful in helping us find a place to rent in our price range and in a location that we love. With all the stresses of a pandemic and our need to move at short notice, Alex was calm, compassionate, and confident that he could help us find a place to live. Once we had narrowed our options, Alex provided helpful context about landlords and rental agreements, and even reviewed our contract for us. We can't wait to work with Alex again the next time we are looking to buy or rent a home!"

"I was interested in selling my house on a specific timeframe, so when my previous agent was seriously deficient in prompt communications with me and refused to recognize my timeframe, someone recommended that I try Alex. So I did. It was a wise choice. In fact, I had reviewed all these recommendations posted on this website, before I hired Alex, and kept my fingers crossed, but now that the process is over, I can confirm that these positive recommendations listed here are all quite true. Alex kept every commitment that he made to me. He was extremely responsive, he set realistic expectations, and he was honest and forthright. At a time when I truly needed honesty and integrity, he provided both. My house was prepared and listed on the timeframe we agreed upon, his recommendations on pricing were both based in reality - and achieved. He gives personal attention. He is kind. He provided value-added advice and recommendations. When the process was completed, I was left with extreme satisfaction with his services. If you are looking for a real estate agent, I highly recommend Alex."

About Alex
Alex has been practicing real estate in the Triangle since early 2018 with a focus on areas in and around Chapel Hill, Raleigh, Alamance County, and Durham. He also has experience outside the triangle proper in cities such as Roxboro, Rougemont, Oxford, Burlington, and Sanford. His practice areas include residential resale and new construction. A listening ear and a dedicated broker are key to overcoming barriers in this fast-paced Triangle housing market. Whether it be helping first-time homebuyers make their homeownership dreams become a reality, guiding investors, or consulting with builders, Alex is committed to walking with buyers and sellers through every step of the path to reach their goals. He offers his clients attentive service, creative solutions to problems, and detail-oriented communication to ensure they can navigate this market with confidence.

Connected to the Community
Alex moved to Chapel Hill with his wife Kristi in 2013 for her to attend law school at UNC Chapel Hill. He quickly became a member of the Chapel Hill Carrboro Chamber of Commerce, where he served on the Chapel Hill Young Professionals leadership team, was a member of the Retail Roundtable, and became a graduate of Leadership Chapel Hill '15. He also served as a Chamber Ambassador for three years, welcoming new members to the Chamber of Commerce and helping them plug into the Chamber's business community.

As a former fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity, he is passionate about the issue of affordable housing in our community. To that end, he has donated 5% of his profits from every real estate transaction to Habitat for Humanity of Orange County. Currently, he is  working to expand upon his commitment towards affordable housing by helping Habitat for Humanity of Orange County to create a group of supporters from within the real estate community that can provide sustaining donations, volunteerism, and advocacy. In addition, he is actively engaging other Realtors across the country to expand this philanthropic model outside of the Triangle.

Outside of the Office
When not working, you'll find him playing with my son. His greatest joys in life are found in time with his family, whether that be splashing in Morgan Creek, exploring the NC Botanical Gardens, or chasing his son around the lawn at Weaver Street Market. He loves exploring the natural beauty to be found in the Triangle, from Eno River State Park to the Hillsborough Riverwalk to Coker Arboretum.
