Alexandra Rhea is a former dancer with a long track record of success in management and communications. She not displays an incredible attention to detail and a visual eye, but her clients also pride her on her response time and clear approach to communication.
Having navigated the New York City home-buying journey herself, she grew an immediate understanding of the real estate market. During that process, she was impressed by her real estate agent’s knowledge and ability to navigate the complexities of the transaction. Little did she know that her agent, Christian Schaefers, would later become her close friend and business partner of many successful years!
Alex and Christian formed The Schaefers | Rhea Team in 2015. They specialize in residential sales, first-time homebuyers, relocation, investment sales and luxury leasing. Together, they pride themselves on their boutique, customer-focused approach and creative problem-solving skills.
Originally from Chicago, Alexandra is a graduate of Rutgers University, where she received a BA in Communications and Public Relations and a BFA in Dance. She now lives in Gramercy, where she enjoys the quiet residential feel with her dog Violet. Still passionate about dance, she supports various dance companies and continues to take professional classes in Manhattan. In addition to being a Whitney Museum of the Arts patron, she also supports Animal Haven, which helps find homes dogs and cats in need. In her free time Alex enjoys ski weekends in Big Sky, Montana, exploring the restaurant scene around New York City and spending time with friends and family.
