About Alex
Passionate and results-driven, Alex Stamakinley is defined by her genuine commitment to her clients. She doesn't just find houses; she discovers dream homes, consistently going above and beyond to exceed every expectation. Prior to her career in Real Estate, she was a professional figure skater. She traveled all over the world competing for Greece and was the country’s 1st world class figure skater in history. One of her favorite skating memories was when she was asked to perform in Sorrento, Italy for one of the most acclaimed and loved tenors of all time…Luciano Pavarotti.
Alex is a 3-time Greek National Champion and one of the greatest honors of her life was qualifying for the 1992 Winter Olympic team.
After retiring from figure skating, she went on to pursue a career in Broadcast Journalism and received her Bachelor’s degree at Cal State University of Northridge. Upon graduation, Alex won the prestigious “Golden Mike” award from the Radio & Television News Association of Southern California for outstanding sports broadcasting.
Over two decades ago, Alex and her husband Mike were looking for the perfect place to raise a family and fell in love with Ventura’s small town vibe, the friendly people and the amazing weather. No matter where they visit in the world, they’re always happy to come back home to sunny, Ventura.
When Alex is not busy helping clients find their dream home, you can find her at the movies with her 2 children, Athena and Demetri or dining in downtown Ventura with her husband.
