Alexandra Van Benschoten

Alexandra Van Benschoten is a driven and approachable member of The Sahliyeh Swanson Group at Compass, bringing a warm, people-first perspective to the Dallas real estate market. Born and raised in New York City, she moved to Dallas to attend Southern Methodist University, where she earned her B.B.A. in Real Estate with a specialization in Entrepreneurship from the Cox School of Business. 

Her passion for real estate grew through hands-on experience with both Compass and Sotheby’s International Realty in New York, where she supported high-end agents with market research, property evaluations, marketing materials, and client communication. These roles helped her build a strong foundation in residential real estate and client service, which she now brings to her work in Dallas. Today, Alexandra assists one of Compass’s top-performing teams with showings, market research, negotiations, and guiding clients through each step of the buying, selling, and leasing process. 

Outside of work, Alexandra enjoys playing pickleball, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her friends and family. She also has a long-standing passion for community service—founding a volunteer app that connected students to over 100 charities—and continues to support organizations like Covenant House. Her positive energy and attention to detail make her a trusted advocate for clients navigating the Dallas market.
