Alison Christianson is a REALTORĀ® with Compass and co-founder of NapaLux Properties, the luxury real estate team she built alongside her husband Tom Christianson in 2020. A Marin County native, Alison graduated college in the early 1980s and returned to the Bay Area with Tom to pursue a career in commercial real estate in Silicon Valley, specializing in office and R&D leasing and apartment sales.
In 1987, Alison embarked on an entrepreneurial journey, leveraging one of Tom's inventions to establish a product design and marketing business that would span three decades. That venture sharpened her skills in invention design, product development, import management, and marketing, with an impressive roster of retail clients including Costco, Walmart, Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, Macy's, and Amazon. When they sold the business in 2018, Alison returned to her first love: real estate, this time in her beloved Napa Valley.
Having raised her two grown children here and been deeply involved in local schools, athletics, and community events, Alison has called Napa home for over 38 years. Today she is a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist and top producing agent at Compass, specializing in luxury homes, vineyard estates, and multi-family properties across Napa and Sonoma. She is a proud Napa Chamber of Commerce Ambassador and the 2024 Ambassador of the Year, a board member of Leadership Napa Valley and Class of 35 alumni, and Co-Lead of the Silverado Fire Safe Council, where she continues to spearhead defensible space efforts across the 758 acres surrounding Silverado Resort, a role she took on following the devastating Napa County fires of 2017.
Together, Alison, Tom, and the NapaLux Properties team bring a rare combination of local knowledge, entrepreneurial experience, and deep community commitment to every client looking to buy or sell in this extraordinary region.
