About Alison
Alison Weaver McDowell is a longtime Washington D.C. area resident whose interest in real estate was sparked when she bought her first house, in Bethesda MD, in 2002. Prior to settling in Bethesda, she lived in Woodley Park, Dupont Circle, Mount Pleasant and Old Town Alexandria. With deep roots in her community, and personal experience in a variety of neighborhoods in the region, Alison is well versed about the offerings of NW Washington D.C. and Montgomery County Maryland.

Prior to getting involved in real estate, Alison worked at National Geographic in documentary film production, has a background in wildlife conservation, and holds degrees in biology and art. Alison continues to be an involved member of her community, is an active volunteer, mother of 3 boys, and an avid outdoor enthusiast. She loves spending her free time with family, and enjoys hiking, biking, kayaking, camping, skiing, traveling, cooking, gardening, and entertaining, and always has an open door for friends.
