About Alison
Alison J. Petersen brings over three decades of expert negotiation, market insight, and client-first service to the Danville and Greater Bay Area real estate markets. As a second-generation REALTOR® and the daughter of a U.S. Navy F-4 Pilot, Alison learned the values of integrity, dedication, and military relocation dynamics early in life. She began her career in 1994, partnering with her mother in San Diego to serve local families and military personnel using VA loans.
Alison holds a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Nevada, Reno. This strong business foundation fueled her success across both commercial and residential sectors. Notably, after managing commercial accounts for Intrawest Inc. and Squaw Valley USA, Alison transitioned back to residential sales with Coldwell Banker NRT in Tahoe City, California. There, she consistently ranked as a top-producing agent and earned the prestigious President’s Circle designation.
Since relocating to Danville in 2005, Alison has successfully balanced a thriving statewide real estate career with a deep commitment to her community and family. She lives in Danville with her husband, Jeffrey, and their four children. Deeply rooted in the local community, Alison and her family are active members of Community Presbyterian Church and St. Isidore’s Catholic Church. She also dedicates her time to philanthropic organizations, including the NF2 Children’s Tumor Foundation, the National Charity League, and the Danville Children’s Guild, where she has served for the past 15 years.
