Growing up in the shadow of his fathers' construction company in Pakistan, Ameer's attraction to real estate was inevitable. After a successful career working in the restaurant and wine industry in the DC area, he decided to get his real estate license and joined the Thrive Team at Compass.
Whether working with buyers or sellers, Ameer brings to the table an intimate knowledge of the local market, a data-oriented mindset, and robust negotiation skills. His clients appreciate his keen eye, friendly nature, and focus on quantitative data. His philosophy is simple; be authentic, transparent and effective in every interaction.
By combining a relationship-based work ethic with the technological tools provided by Compass, his clients are informed and empowered throughout the process of buying or selling a home. The fact that a majority of his business is referral-based is a testament to his skills as a realtor and advisor. With a foothold in the new construction sphere, Ameer has his finger on the pulse of developments all around the city, and is able to advise his clients about neighborhoods with good opportunities and value, such as Brightwood, Trinidad, Eckington, and NoMa.
Ameer currently lives in the Cathedral Heights neighborhood of Northwest DC. When he isn't working with clients, he can be found teaching or taking a hot yoga class at CorePower Yoga, exploring new restaurants, and going to concerts.
