"Amy Butz helped me sell my property after also having bought it years ago with this team. I should note this transaction felt emotionally charged, a bit of an uphill battle. Not only did she prepare the listing with the utmost care, even bringing some of her own items to spruce up my patio, but she was level headed as things got increasingly difficult and deadlines were pushed and more docs were needed. She helped me navigate each step with care and professionalism and I couldn’t recommend her and her team more."

"We had an amazing experience with Amy B! We knew right away when we met her that we wanted to work with her as our realtor. She is very warm, friendly, and was very invested in helping us buy our first home. She was always available for any questions, and went above and beyond to support us in our process! We ended up getting a great deal on our home as well due to her strong negotiation. We couldn’t recommend working with her more!"

"Buying or selling a house is awful, scary, monumental, complicated - it likely involves more money than you will ever spend or get on any other transaction in your life and it is an experience that can take weeks or months from start to finish. We lived in our house for 32 years - enough time to raise two kids from toddlers to well into adulthood and for both of us to have, and finally retire from, entire careers. You acquire a lot of habits and emotional attachment and physical stuff in 32 years. Amy and Jason made selling this house - which was a bit like cutting off a limb - as painless as we could have imagined. It was a complicated process because we had lawn care and painting and staging and getting a bridge loan and carpet cleaning and other cleaning and general handyman stuff and then the actual selling part - price setting and open houses and private showings and negotiating. You think of a realtor as being a salesperson. And they are. But a much bigger piece of it is being project managers -- they coordinate a bunch of moving parts and they're going to spend your money and change your (former) home in the interest of selling your property. There's a lot of judgment, trust, coordination, communication, and therapy in that relationship. Amy and Jason were brilliant - we put ourselves in their hands and we got two solid offers at asking price one week after listing, and this in a bumpy real estate climate. We were in contact with one or both of them pretty much daily - even if it was just checking in to make sure the wheels continued to spin. They were careful to make sure we were in the loop when necessary but also very good about not bothering us with every single little detail. We could not be happier with the outcome and would recommend them without reservation, together or separately, to anyone who wants to buy or sell a house. It is a grueling experience and you have to have someone who is competent and that you can trust completely. Amy and Jason fit the bill perfectly. And, crucially, they are fun to work with." - Jonathan

"Working with Jason and Amy was an absolute pleasure. They listened to what mattered most to me during the selling process and went above and beyond, offering to help with anything I needed. Their knowledge of my neighborhood was outstanding and gave me confidence that my home was priced and marketed just right. If you are looking for realtors who are not only professional, but also genuinely kind, caring, and dedicated, I highly recommend Jason and Amy."  - Brenda

"Jason, Amy and The Denver Group were amazing. They were always, always responsive which was key for my wife and I during such a big change as pulling up roots and moving to another state. The most important item for us was their attention to detail and how convenient they made the whole process - many times working around our busy schedules and not the other way around. Would choose to partner with Jason, Amy and the team again in a heartbeat."

About Amy

After my first visit to Colorado as a teenager, I couldn't shake the feeling that this was the place I was destined to call home. The beauty, the lifestyle, and above all, the warmth of the people had me hooked. So, in 1999, I traded the flatlands of Kansas for the Rocky Mountains and never looked back.

I was first introduced to the world of real estate in Vail, where I gained a profound understanding of the personal and intricate aspects of buying and selling homes. With an educational background in graphic design, coupled with experiences in non-profit event marketing & management and sales, I eventually landed back in real estate as the Marketing Director for The Denver Group. With four years of expertise assisting clients in promoting their homes, I'm thrilled to be helping them navigate their buying and selling journeys.

With a passion for art, and interior design, I understand that each home has its own unique story waiting to be shared. I appreciate the details that transform a house into a home and know how to showcase a property’s finest features to stand out in a competitive market and attract potential buyers.

Assisting clients in finding their home is more than just a job; it's a personal commitment. "Home" is where hopes are nurtured and dreams become reality.  Every corner holds a story of triumphs, challenges, love, laughter, and sometimes, tears. I am familiar with the journey of finding that perfect space, and how it evolves through the chapters of life. Whether you’re moving into your first home or forever home, I’m honored to guide you through the process and dedicated to making it a rewarding and seamless experience.

When I’m not helping clients you’ll find me on the lacrosse and basketball sidelines cheering for my kids, tackling a home improvement project, exploring the awesome neighborhoods of Denver or heading to the hills for some solace and adventure.
