"Amy Scharpf planned and successfully sold our Bethesda house in May 2023. She is hardworking, delightful to work with and understands well how best to position a house for the current market in our neighborhood. She helped us set an asking price through her on-going research and by consulting with her Compass network colleagues. Compass provides a great advantage for buyers and sellers because of its reach and collegial approach using a national database. Amy staged the house with an eye to showing it in a market that includes nearby new houses. She provided a team that painted, buffed the floor, and did minor repairs. Using Compass's resources, she strategically placed outside furniture to draw attention to the entire backyard and indoor furniture that was modern and emphasized the major selling points of the house.. The house was listed on a Friday, there were open houses Saturday and Sunday, four bids were made, and the house sold on Tuesday. for an amount over the asking price and adding no conditions. She has continued to shepherd us through the closing, always available, supportive and in good humor.
