"Amy was a tremendous help as we started the process of listing our house, including recommendations for how to get our house to show best. Her attention detail was great and she oversaw realtor open house and monitored showing activity. We got an offer and she diligently carried the negotiations through to close. Very pleased with Amy" - Kay
"I had appointments with 3 Realtors to list my home. Amy was the first one I met with, and I was so impressed with her that I cancelled the other appointments and listed with her immediately. She came to the meeting very well prepared and had answers to all my questions. She was always punctual, and did exactly what she said she would do, and did it in a timely manner. Her bright and magnetic personality made her a dream to work with. The entire process went smoothly from start to finish and I would be happy to use her again or recommend her to anyone needing a Realtor."
"Amy asked us to create a list of 5 must-haves and 5 can’t-stands in a home. We did, and it really helped us be objective in our search and eliminated a lot of emotions and guess work, which really shortened the whole search process for us. We found a home that not only met the criteria, but that we immediately fell in love with and could see our future in. We’ve done some things to update it and really make it “ours”, and it has proven to be the perfect first home for us. Throughout the purchase process, my husband and I found ourselves remarking to each other and to Amy on the level of peacefulness of the whole process. Everyone always says buying a home is one of the toughest life events you’ll face, but if they all went like this, no one would say that. We have been in our home for 2 years now and we love it more than ever. I really feel like our level of satisfaction is still in part due to Amy’s wise approach to selecting a home."
"Amy was helpful and friendly, and adapted very well to our specific needs and interests. As quickly as the second house we saw, we were falling in love with her choices. I couldn’t imagine having a better home-buying experience!" - Dan
"I highly recommend Amy! You will not find a more knowledgeable, attentive, helpful or engaging realtor. She will work tirelessly to help you find the perfect home." - Allie
Amy is a fourth-generation Austinite who remembers when Austin was just a sleepy university city in the middle of Texas with live music and good Tex-Mex. She has seen firsthand how the city has matured and why it has become one of the nation’s most desirable places to live. You could say real estate is in Amy’s DNA, beginning with her great-grandfather who bought and sold land in Austin when it was still a small town, to her grandfather who helped shape the Austin Board of Realtors® in the 1950s, to her parents who are active real estate investors in Austin. It is her passion and also her profession. Prior to real estate, Amy worked as a management consultant and later as a negotiation consultant. The knowledge and expertise Amy gained from these experiences have served her clients and her well in her real estate career, and no doubt will continue to do so in the future.
In addition to invaluable local knowledge, Amy brings the first-hand experience after living in various locations throughout Austin, including Northwest Hills, Balcones Park, Westlake Hills, Rollingwood, Crestview, Tarrytown, and Lakeway. Her intuitive nature allows her to successfully match her client’s lifestyle desires and goals with the right neighborhood and property, saving them time and frustration. She is respected for her integrity, clear communication, and responsiveness, and has developed a reputation for “finding the impossible” one of her specialties and favorite things about the process.
Amy and her fellow Austin-native husband, Jonathan, live in the Northwest Hills area with their three young children. They are active in supporting the community through their involvement at Christ Church of Austin, Highland Park Elementary, and their online tea business. When she is not helping clients, Amy can be found chasing her three children up and down the beautiful hills of Cat Mountain, relaxing with a cup of tea, practicing yoga at Studio Mantra, or writing.
