A native New Yorker and residential real estate advisor with nine years of experience, Andrew Schwartz knows New York as both a market and a place. He has represented first-time buyers, pied-à-terre purchasers, investors, developers and longtime homeowners, with recent transactions across Chelsea, the Upper East and Upper West Sides, Greenpoint, Boerum Hill and Bushwick. His work has ranged from starter apartments to significant luxury properties, including the $10.7 million sale of Residence 41A at One57, where he represented the sponsor, and the recent $6.7 million purchase of 733 Park Avenue, where he represented the buyer.

The son of a commercial real estate attorney, he grew up fascinated by New York's buildings—how zoning shapes them, how architecture gives them identity (he's especially partial to Art Deco), and how the configuration of a few hundred square feet can completely change the way a home flows. That curiosity has developed into extensive experience advising clients for whom renovation is part of a purchase or sale, with a keen eye for how space can be improved and how those choices affect value and marketability.
