I was born and raised in Charlotte and moved back soon after graduating in 2005 from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!). I have seen the city expand a lot over my lifetime and quite drastically in recent years. I have created a business and clientele group across several industries and demographics. From fellow native Charlotteans buying their first, second or third homes to individuals who know no one in Charlotte but have been relocated here with their company. I truly enjoy touring clients around town, showing them the highlights of our existing neighborhoods and future of what is to come. It is an exciting place to live, one I have loved for 40 years, and one I love to share with other people.
While house showings and area tours are exciting, helping my clients navigate the transactions both on the buy side and sell side is where I find the business so interesting. I love advising them by analyzing nearby comps, determining the value of a home and then helping my clients understand potential risks/rewards for each particular property. It is a tricky process and at Cottingham Chalk, we have been trained to treat everyone across the transaction with grace and respect while fighting tooth and nail for our clients’ best interests and helping them do all of their due diligence along the way. I strive for professionalism, exceptional service, knowledge of the market and above all else, pure happiness from my clients at the closing table. It can be a scary process and I’m here to hold your hand through it all.
