"Antonia treated me like family the entire way through my home purchase. There is no way to properly thank her for what she helped me do, so the least I could do was write a review that tells of the character and professionalism she has. I went into this home-buying journey weary of such a big change in my life - selling a house I raised my kids in and where I spent countless wonderful days with my late husband, and buying a house in a different state, a town entirely new to me so I could live closer to my son, my daughter-in-law, and my grandkids. Even the idea of letting go of my house to settle in a new "home", as wonderful as that is, was at times daunting to even think about. Not to mention the work it would take to pack up 40 years of my life. Antonia approached every interaction we had with warmth, grace, compassion, and a truly Northstar approach - she was my compass when my path was uncertain or the ground under me felt shaky. Even when I had my doubts about the whole thing - she stood by me no matter what my instincts were telling me at the time. And I flip-flopped a few times. Not only did she help me view homes for sale that I thought I'd love, she helped me with selling my own house. She put me in touch with a realtor in my area, she advised me on an estate sale, and sorting my possessions, she helped me focus during the process of selling my house. And when I'd find a new house I thought would be a good fit, she approached each one with a clarity that I sometimes couldn't muster with all that was going on. I couldn't tell you how many homes we looked at, but it was a lot! And when the seller asked for best and final offers by the next day, and the pressure was on to make a decision, I always felt like I had a heavy weight coach on my side of the ring. When I finally decided I was ready to make an offer on the umpteenth house we saw, and I was ready to offer well over the asking price just to be sure my offer wasn't rejected, she read the situation, identified a lower number that we thought would still be competitive, and conditions we could put on the offer to make it more attractive. And she was right! I ended up paying very close to the asking price, and considering the market at the time, that was unbelievable. Antonia is truly a remarkable woman, and the type of person I'd like to have over for dinner just to enjoy her company. Education
I grew up in a close-knit Albanian American family, and moving frequently throughout my childhood taught me something invaluable: how to adapt, listen, and connect with all kinds of people. What once felt challenging became one of my greatest strengths ā the ability to walk into new situations with confidence and empathy.
Before real estate, I built my career around working with people. I earned a degree in Education and History (grades 7ā12) and spent five years teaching middle school U.S. History in the New York City while completing my Masterās degree. Teaching sharpened my communication skills, patience, and ability to guide others through complex processes ā skills I now bring to every client relationship.
After starting my family and returning to Connecticut, I pursued the things that inspire me most: connecting with people, educating and advising others and cultivating my love of thoughtful design. I earned my yoga teaching certification and taught for several years, then opened a decorating business focused primarily on real estate design and staging, along with select projects. Helping homeowners present their properties at their absolute best naturally led me back to real estate.
I was first licensed in 2016, returned to the profession in 2020, and spent three years working as an assistant, gaining invaluable behind-the-scenes experience in contracts, negotiations, and transaction management. Now, with my youngest graduating and the ability to give this career my full focus, Iām fully committed to serving buyers and sellers with energy, organization, and attention to detail.
If I had to summarize my approach, itās simple: I love working with people. My entire professional life ā teaching, yoga, design, retail, and real estate ā has centered around building relationships. Iām highly organized, detail-oriented, and thoughtful in my communication. I believe real estate isnāt just about houses; itās about understanding peopleās lives, transitions, and goals.
