April Mitchell

April is a BYU-Idaho alumni and a REALTOR® with Compass RE on the Everett Team serving Austin, Cedar Park, Leander, Liberty Hill, Bee Cave, Westlake, Dripping Springs, and the surrounding communities. Having bought and sold personal homes multiple times and having lived in Austin for ten years, April brings a true local’s perspective to every move. She knows what it takes to relocate to a new city and actually build a life there. Finding schools, making friends, and figuring out which neighborhood fits your family is work. April has done that work herself, and it is a big part of why she loves helping people through real estate. She loves helping people compare areas the way she once had to: evaluating commute times, evaluating schools, factoring in daily rhythm, and understanding what a place will feel like five (or ten) years from now. These are elements of relocating to and around Austin that pictures alone will not show you! 

 Clients tend to describe April as calm, organized, and easy to get ahold of. She keeps the details straight and dislikes leaving anyone guessing about what comes next. She believes great real estate guidance includes listening closely, keeping details tight, and ensuring clients feel informed at each step.

April lives in Austin with her husband and two kiddos and she is heavily involved in her community. When not scouring the MLS, you can find her running, finding the best tacos in the city, and she may even bake for you from time to time.
