"Barbara is a superb and caring real estate agent. I first met Barbara at an open house that she was holding for one of her listings. Not quite ready to buy, my husband and I were out with our 3-year-old in tow, trying to get a sense of the market. The listing was a 1920s 2-story with masses of roses, lavender and herbs planted in the backyard. When Barbara asked us what we thought, we said it was a sweet house (which it was)—to which she volunteered that it was perhaps not right for a family with a small child. She then sent us off to look at two other open houses in the neighborhood—not her listings. That’s when I concluded we should approach Barbara once we were ready to buy. I sensed that she would want to get us into a house that was right for us. I have since both bought and sold with Barbara, as well as recommended her to my son for his first home purchase. Barbara brings energy and knowledge to the process. She fully educated my son on the buying process before taking him out to look at properties. When I was selling, she not only made sure the property was beautifully staged and professionally photographed but also took care of me, stepping in to make sure the sewer got scoped and the lawn got mowed so that I could focus on moving out. She is a fair and capable negotiator who works hard to get a deal through once a buyer has decided to make an offer. Both buying and selling involve big decisions and both can be stressful. Barbara brings a good mix of cheerfulness and seriousness to these experiences. She clearly loves what she does and I recommend her to anyone looking for an agent."

"Over the last 25 years, I have bought three houses and one piece of land. I have sold three houses. I've done these things by owner, by buyer's broker, by traditional agent. In my opinion, educated by experience, Barbara Jones was right at the top of the heap. She earned her commission. In particular, her "process experience" was invaluable. That's not just selling process, but moving, and staging, and pricing, and marketing. I realize that this is an effusive review, but I assure everyone who gets this far that I am the original cranky s.o.b. and would have no problem unloading if it was warranted. Barbara did a great job for us, and if you're thinking of selling your house I firmly recomend her."

"Barbara Jones is the most competent, hard working agent we have ever met. But what sets her apart from other agents is her warm, friendly and professional personality. She goes above and beyond the regular call of duty and is responsive and thorough"

"Barbara defines service. She went out of her way to make herself available both in person and via phone. She was aggressive in pursuing the houses we were interested in."

Barbara's introduction to real estate was in 1973 when her mom went to work for a small company in Magnolia Village, in 1985. Over the years her client base has ranged from first-time buyers to experienced investors. She has been blessed to work with childhood friends and their families, people new to the community, and those leaving the area after many years. She is a neighborhood expert and a lifelong Magnolia resident; a small community about 15 minutes from downtown Seattle. She knows the unique communities Seattle has to offer and prides herself on matching her clients and their needs to the neighborhood best suited for them.

Barbara has a passion for homes. Old ones, new ones, fixer-uppers, chicken coops...anything with a roof! She has lived through an extensive remodel with her husband.
