About Bellingham Partners
Rom and Galen are founding brokers of the Compass Bellingham office and are in the top 1% of sales volume in Whatcom County. In 2024 they opened a Compass office in the San Juan Islands on their home island, Lopez Island. Bringing a mix of off island experience with local connections to the San Juan Islands. 

Being raised in the Pacific Northwest (in a unique upbringing on Lopez Island and Steven's Pass),  Rom and Galen understand exactly what draws people to this special seaside and outdoorsy town. Their loyalty, integrity and work ethic have cemented them firmly inside the top 1% of Realtors in Whatcom County.

Rom and Galen built custom homes in the San Juan Island's, Aspen CO and Hawaii before moving back to Bellingham. Building custom homes has given them a deep understanding of how a home works. Having an extensive knowledge of a home has benefited their buyers when walking through a home to determine what might be potential issues in the future, how to fix them and what it might cost. Sellers also benefit from their knowledge and industry relationships when preparing a home for sale.

Rom and Galen enjoy Bellingham's many outdoor activities. From running trails in the Chuckanuts to Mt. Baker's back-country skiing. They both live in the South Hill/Fairhaven area and love everything Bellingham has to offer.
