Bethany Patten

For the past fifteen years Bethany has a career in real estate, specializing in sales of residential and investment properties in San Francisco.  She is currently a top producing agent with Compass. In Bethany's heart, she believes where a person lives is vital to their happiness and she finds tremendous satisfaction in helping people find their homes.  Her success can be credited to her calm nature, extensive knowledge of the San Francisco market and strong business sense.   

Bethany started her career in equity research in New York City but quickly realized that she wanted to pursue a more entrepreneurial career path.  In 1999, she received her MBA from the University of Virginia, moved from the East Coast to the Bay Area and began her career in real estate.  Through the years Bethany has come to appreciate that the most important thing she can do as a real estate agent is listen to her clients and collaborate with them so they come out of the process being very educated about the San Francisco market and feeling positive about their experience.  As a result, she has a very loyal group of clients.

A native of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Bethany attended Groton School in Massachusetts and earned her BA degree is psychology from Trinity College in Hartford, CT.  She is currently a board member of bay.org, a member of the Edgewood Children’s Home Auxiliary Board, a member of the Friends Group at the Bay Area Discovery Museum, and co-chairman of the Groton School Women’s Network.
