Rodric Brogan

Rod Brogan is a born and raised New Yorker with a passion for real estate and a talent for negotiating deals that stems from a successful career in the entertainment industry. 

Moving from Manhattan to the heart of the Riverdale neighborhood of the Bronx in 2016, Rod found a new love in what the New York Times calls a "scenic enclave" renowned for the suburban feel of its leafy streets and parks, its mansions and co-op buildings, and its varied transportation options. That move ignited Rod's desire to help others find their dream homes in this unique and vibrant area. 

What sets Rod apart in the real estate business is his innate appreciation for the creative aspects of structuring deals. His background in entertainment, as a series regular on the CBS sitcom "Major Dad" and a familiar face in video games and theaters across the country, has honed his communication and negotiation skills, making him a formidable representative in real estate transactions. 

In addition to acting for 40 years, Rod was a radio reporter for AM 1220 WQUN, Quinnipiac University's CBS News affiliated radio station in Hamden, CT, and won an Associated Press Award for Spot News Reporting, before moving on to a stint at ABC Radio News in NYC. That journalism training instilled in him the ability to communicate concisely and with attention to detail, ensuring that his clients receive clear and accurate information throughout their real estate journey. With a deep familiarity with New Haven and Fairfield Counties from his reporting days, Rod also brings a wealth of local Connecticut expertise and market knowledge to his clients.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Rod lives with his wife, three kids, two cats, and a Samoyed, and knows the importance of balancing work and play.
