As first-time home-buyers, we were unfamiliar with many rules of the game and how various players in the market operate. The system felt like a black box at times and we were unsure if we had access to all the information to make well-informed decisions in a timely manner. When we first approached Brad, he carefully listened to our needs, preferences and interests during the discovery call. He then recommended a few areas to initiate the search. We really appreciated the transparency he demonstrated in our very first call with him when he shared his screen, showed us prospective properties, walked us through the attributes of each and even took us to a few open houses the very same weekend. Throughout the search process, Brad continued to be extremely lucid, oftentimes, sharing what he learnt from other parties verbatim. Valuation:
Valuation is an art and it takes good judgment backed by experience and a strategic mindset to be able to bring together the value of a property, the buyer’s budget and the final offer for a successful outcome in today’s competitive Bay Area market. Brad’s rationale and explanation on the financials beyond comparables is admirable. While coming up with offers, he explained his thought process on value and offer ranges. He actually set thresholds beyond which the value would be questionable. That set guardrails in the bidding process for us and gave us relief that we would not be headed towards buyer’s remorse by overpaying.

Flexibility:
As working professionals with full-time jobs, the search required us to visit properties and discuss offers at odd times of the day. Brad was always willing to meet us at a property or hop on a call at a short notice. To no end, he continued to make himself available for us even after the deal was finalized. He continued to check in on our move and provide helpful inputs on setting up utilities, interior design and architecture considerations for home improvement projects among other topics. In addition to all these amazing characteristics, Brad brought a sense of humor and a jovial spirit that added an element of fun to the journey.
