    About Brandon

    Brandon Goethals is the Managing Partner at The File Group. Brandon has always called the West Coast home and has happily served Orange County for years. Together with his wife Janelle File, they have been proud residents of Corona del Mar for 30+ years where they are raising their three children and are proudly integrated with the wonderful locals in the area. 

    What separates Brandon from others is his fierce drive, his tireless commitment to his clients, and his relentless goal-driven mentality. With everything he does, Brandon always strives to go above and beyond. How he treats his clients, how he communicates, and how he measures success is fueled by his commitment to holding himself accountable in everything he does. This is also what enables him to sell homes quicker and for top dollar. Everything he does is executed at a high level, and delivered with authenticity and sincerity. 

    Brandon and The File Group are unique as they work with anyone looking to meet their real estate goals, no matter how complex.     Prior to setting records in real estate, Brandon spent many of his years in the golf industry, both as a player and coach. He is a former professional golfer and collegiate golf coach. Throughout his years in the golf industry, Brandon secured four conference championships, three NCAA Regional Championships, and three NCAA Final Four trophies. Brandon also worked for the PGA Tour as head of sales for the Northern Trust Open. After spending most of his life in sports, Brandon transitioned into real estate to be able to serve the community at large and help people find their home in this amazing coastal community. 

    When Brandon isn’t providing unmatched service to his clients, he enjoys spending time with his family. He and his wife Janelle have three children and two dogs. Their young and active family is often busy with sports, with Brandon remaining very involved in the world of golf. Brandon is a member of the Santa Ana Country Club, where he enjoys spending time with friends. Brandon loves the community aspect that this area offers, and loves to give back to the community as often as possible.
