About Brian

Real estate has always been more than a profession to me—it’s part of my family history. Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area, I heard the stories and saw the impact of my grandfather and great-grandfather, both prominent local brokers and builders. My great-grandfather’s work with the Stoneson Brothers (Stonestown Galleria and Stoneston Development Corporation Fame), included St. Mary's Park and other renowned San Francisco properties.  This gave me an early appreciation for the lasting role real estate plays in shaping our communities.

My own path to real estate took a different route. After earning a degree in Industrial Technology from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, I spent more than two decades in the corporate world, building a career in supply chain and procurement with a Fortune 50 company. Much of my work centered on complex negotiations, contracts, technology, and managing high-value business decisions where preparation, attention to detail, and clear communication mattered.

Those experiences now shape the way I approach real estate. As a member of the O’Leary Real Estate team, I combine my business and negotiating background with the knowledge and experience of a team that brings more than 40 years of collective real estate experience to our clients.

I believe buying or selling a home should feel personal, not transactional. My role is to make sure my clients understand their options, feel confident in their decisions, and know that someone is looking out for their interests throughout the process. Whether it’s a first home, a move to accommodate a growing family, or the sale of a longtime property, I want my clients to feel informed, prepared, and well represented from beginning to end.

San Mateo County is also where my wife and I have built our own life and family. With five children and three grandchildren, I understand that a home is much more than an asset—it’s often where some of life’s most important chapters take place.

My goal isn’t simply to help clients complete a transaction. It’s to build relationships that last well beyond closing and to become the person they know they can call whenever real estate becomes part of the conversation.
