“There are so many good things to say about Brian Ranck as a realtor that I am not certain where to begin. First and foremost he is honest and trustworthy in ways that are extremely rare in real estate. Secondly, his deep knowledge about building practices helped me to identify not only a home that is beautiful, but also one that is safe. Third, he went far beyond his role in helping me identify suitable properties and filling out paperwork. He talked extensively with me and did additional research to help me find the perfect home. This was not an easy task, as I have special concerns that go beyond the average buyer. Brian stuck with me over a long housing search, which lasted nearly two full years. I have mold related illness CIRS, and so finding a house in a city like Philadelphia, which is very wet presents real challenges. Brian never once rushed me and maintained throughout the search the importance of finding a home that met all my criteria. About Brian
Brian has loved real estate and interior design for as long as he can remember, from reading real estate classifieds as a child to working for general contractors in high school. After he and his wife bought their first fixer-upper home, he got his real estate license and began helping others find their dream home.
Clients appreciate Brian’s professionalism, market expertise, construction knowledge, and tireless commitment to their success. He is known for his patience and ability to support clients within decision-making, and for being detail oriented and strategic in negotiating an offer or crafting a customized marking plan for a unique listing.
Brian grew up on his family’s organic farm in Pennsylvania, where he developed a love for the outdoors and learned how to fix almost anything. After moving to Philadelphia, he quickly fell in love with the historic architecture and the uniqueness of each neighborhood. Brian has an MBA in Economic Development and previously helped lead a community loan fund providing small loans to businesses across the Philadelphia region. Outside of real estate, he enjoys spending time with his family, gardening, dreaming up new home projects, and hiking in the Wissahickon.
