Brian Dickinson is a dedicated REALTOR® with Compass, based in the Destrehan office. Originally from Orlando, Florida, Brian made Louisiana his permanent home in August 2001. After eight years living in the vibrant Mid-City and Marigny neighborhoods of New Orleans, he eventually settled in Destrehan for 15 years. But the pull of the city was too strong—Brian now calls the historic Gentilly Terrace neighborhood home, embracing its charm and sense of community.

With more than 24 years of experience living and working across Louisiana, Brian offers deep insight into New Orleans’ diverse neighborhoods as well as the suburban and rural areas upriver from the city. His expertise goes beyond maps and market stats—Brian knows the character and rhythm of each community he serves.

Before entering real estate, Brian built a 29-year career in retail management with national brands including Lechter’s Housewares, Mervyn’s, and Gap. That journey, which took him from Florida to California and many places along I-10, sharpened his ability to lead teams, manage details, and most importantly, deliver exceptional client experiences. Today, those skills translate seamlessly into his real estate practice, where he emphasizes a customer-first approach and clear, attentive communication.
