About Brittany
Brittany Hooten is a dedicated real estate professional, community advocate, and the founder of Hooten Homes Real
Estate Group, known for delivering thoughtful guidance, strategic expertise, and an unwavering commitment to her
clients.
Originally from Southern California, Brittany was immersed in the world of real estate from an early age. She grew up observing the business firsthand, helping her grandmother prepare for open houses, assisting with rental properties, and seeing the relationships that form through helping families find a place to call home. Those early experiences sparked a lifelong passion for the industry and ultimately shaped the foundation of her career.
Before transitioning fully into real estate, Brittany built a career in the catastrophe insurance sector, where she managed complex natural disaster dwelling claims across the country. This experience required extensive knowledge of construction, home valuation, and insurance policy interpretation while negotiating under highly sensitive and high-pressure circumstances. The role sharpened her ability to advocate for homeowners, navigate complex transactions, and provide steady leadership during challenging situations, skills that now serve her clients exceptionally well in real estate.
In addition to her work as a real estate professional, Brittany is also a Licensed Public Adjuster and works alongside her family through their firm, Hooten & Associates, where she assists homeowners navigating insurance claim disputes, loss-below-deductible situations, and complex claim negotiations.
After relocating to Texas through her catastrophe claims work, Brittany found a deep connection to the community and chose to build both her life and career in Denton County. Since entering the real estate industry in 2019, she has become known for her transparent approach, strong advocacy, and commitment to educating her clients so they can make confident, informed decisions when buying, selling, investing, or leasing property.
Brittany later founded Hooten Homes Real Estate Group with the vision of creating a collaborative team built on service, integrity, and client-focused strategy. The team was established to ensure that every client receives exceptional support, thoughtful communication, and the collective expertise of professionals who genuinely care about the outcomes of the families they serve.
Beyond her professional work, Brittany remains deeply engaged in her community. She is an active member of her child’s PTA within Denton ISD and currently serves on the Government Affairs Committee for MetroTex Association of REALTORS®, where she helps advocate for policies that protect homeowners, property rights, and the real estate industry.
Brittany and her husband, Austin, are proud to raise their three sons Carter, Brady, and Cash in Denton County. Outside of real estate, their family enjoys exploring new restaurants, visiting small Texas towns, supporting their children’s sports activities, and spending as much time outdoors together as possible. Through every transaction, Brittany remains committed to one simple philosophy: real estate is not just about property, it is about people, community, and helping families build the next chapter of their lives.
