Brooke Baker

Brooke Baker is a Northern California native with deep Bay Area roots and a genuine passion for helping people find not just a home, but a lifestyle.  Sonoma has been home base for Brooke and her family since 1993, when her mom made the move from Marin — so when she says she knows this community, she means it.

Brooke's real estate career spans over a decade and three distinct markets. She launched her career in 2012 in Manhattan Beach, CA, where she developed a strong foundation in residential sales, marketing, and client strategy in one of Southern California's most competitive coastal markets. She then earned her broker's license and built her business further in Naperville, IL, before returning to her Northern California roots — first in North Lake Tahoe, and most recently joining Compass Sonoma in January 2026.

That cross-market experience is one of her greatest strengths. With more than $15 million in career sales volume across multiple MLSes and states, Brooke brings a rare, well-rounded perspective to every transaction — blending high-level strategy with hands-on local market knowledge.

Brooke approaches every sale as a creative project — a personal challenge that teaches her something new about people, relationships, and communication. She loves connecting with clients and believes the best real estate experiences happen when there's genuine mutual trust and a shared sense of purpose. She works hard to build that trust from day one, strives to make the process enjoyable, and takes real pride in making her clients happy. Her goal is always to attract and work with people she truly clicks with — and even when that's a work in progress, she's always learning.

She is known for her warm, honest communication style and her ability to make the buying and selling process feel clear, supported, and even fun.

When she's not working with clients, you'll find Brooke with family and friends - hiking local trails around the North Bay and North Lake Tahoe, taking classes at Sonoma Yoga and Park Point, catching live music with her partner Brett, or cheering on her kids at the University of Wisconsin–Madison where her daughter played goalie on the women's hockey team and her son is studying journalism.
