"Prior to our annual vacation on Longboat Key each July, we decided it was time to investigate boating communities in the area. Our first task was to identify a realtor who we felt comfortable with. We use Compass in our home location and started with the Compass team in FL. We reviewed realtors & teams for several days and ultimately landed with the Florida Home Girls. Why, a combination of bio’s, experience, and tenure in the area. Our introduction call was effortless, comfortable and instilled confidence. Our first day, in person looking at houses was an opportunity for us to really get to know each other. One thing that stuck out, they listened to everything we said. They began learning our wants and desires along with needs day one. We were shown everything from condos to homes, old to new, HOA to Non-HOA all over the area. What we initially thought we wanted was not where we ended up. Our desires changed along the way and they were there, with us, side by side evolving with us. Considerable time was spend looking at homes but soon our time in LBK came to an end. Once we returned home, the level of service didn’t change at all. In fact, we may have communicated with the team more. This is where the team approach shined, the Florida Home Girls could stand in for one another and the service we received was seamless. They would visit homes to see if they thought it was a fit (remember they really got to know us), if so would setup a time to do video walkthrough or make incredible video tours. Shout out to the team for the best video tours I’ve ever seen. They were with us through multiple offers and ultimately selecting our dream home in the Inlets @ Riverdale.
