About Bryan

Bryan Danforth is a Senior Vice President for Compass Commercial, specializing in apartment, land and development sales, and 1031 tax deferred-exchanges, including into triple-net retail since 2006. He has closed over $300 million in sales ranging from small private client apartments to institutional sized communities. He has made his mark as a well- known and respected expert in Silicon Valley multi-family sales.


Bryan grew up in Los Altos, attending Los Altos High and has long ties to Silicon Valley. He currently resides in Mountain View where he also owns and manages rental property. He has experience as an agent, buyer, seller, renter, and landlord so he can connect with all sides of a transaction, including some of the intricate rent control regulations which can vary from city to city.


Prior to joining Compass Commercial, Mr. Danforth was a Managing Director at Newmark (formerly Cornish & Carey), and a Vice President with Cushman & Wakefield (formerly BT Commercial / Cassidy Turley / DTZ), and he started his career in the renowned training program at Marcus & Millichap, where he won rookie of the year in his first full year in brokerage.


Mr. Danforth graduated from the University of Southern California as a double major, with bachelor's degrees in economics and philosophy.
