About Cason
Cason Chatham is a third generation real estate professional, whose time as a commercial pilot helped inspire his love for geography, real estate, and risk analysis. He thrives on offering his clients bespoke Commercial Investment services in the acquisition, disposition, and development of properties that exceed their investment and usage needs, by being intelligently focused, innovative, and trust worthy. His goal is to help everyone elevate their place in the world.
He has brokered and closed almost $40 million in Commercial Real Estate for high net-worth individuals and groups, to include transaction of Trader Joe’s, Publix Shopping Center, Vitamin Shoppe, Aaron’s Rent, and medical properties. He provided representation and consulting on a $110 million 1031 Exchange, to include navigating IRS regulations and time restraints, market assessments, and deep financial analysis on properties to determine the greatest possible returns within the risk tolerances of the client. In addition, he is currently working deals in the multifamily and office sectors.
Prior to this, Cason was the COO of an international aerial marketing company, where he helped produce some of the largest aerial marketing campaigns in history for events like the Super Bowl, the Indy 500, and for companies like T-Mobile and Cisco.
Cason also has extensive experience in the aviation industry for both Christian humanitarian organizations (PACTEC and Agape Flights) and global bodies like NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization), throughout the Caribbean, Afghanistan, and surrounding regions. He is a licensed Airline Transport Pilot, with significant piloting and consulting experience in remote, austere environments. After this time overseas, in 2013 he joined the US NAVY Reserve as a Commissioned Officer, and participated in multiple joint exercises.
He has a Master’s Degree in Global Affairs & Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management, a B.S. in Building Construction & Contracting from Georgia Southern University, and extended theological training from Prairie Bible College in Canada and the C.S. Lewis Institute in Atlanta, Ga.
Most importantly, he has been married for 19 years to Katie Chatham and has four wonderful children. As a family they lived in Afghanistan for almost 4 years.
He currently lives in Gainesville, FL as a Compass Mobile Agent, and travels where/when necessary, with many clients between Atlanta and South Florida. He currently holds a Real Estate license in both Georgia and Florida.
