It is often said about a perfect pairing for a perfect team that “it is meant to be.” For Susan Canavan and Deirdre Coit, that surely seems to be the case. The two met in 1986 as sales representatives at the fashionable and prestigious Vintage Club in the upscale desert community of Indian Wells, where they formed a wonderful friendship and a successful business relationship.

In 1990 they opened a Luxury Boutique Real Estate Office and Canavan-Coit, the Perfect Team was formed. Today, Susan and Deirdre are leading agents representing luxury homes across the desert, with each bringing their unique business acumen and a shared passion for design and architecture to every transaction.

Originally from London, England, Susan moved to the desert in 1984 to join the sales team at the Vintage Club and has enjoyed the privilege of listing and selling some of the most prestigious homes throughout the desert’s country club communities and Southern California’s most exclusive luxury markets, including Beverly Hills, Newport Beach and Rancho Santa Fe. She has conducted more than $1 billion in transactions and consistently ranks among the top 100 producers in California. Susan has gained a reputation for representing celebrities and Fortune 500 CEOs with integrity and privacy.

With her contagious positive attitude, Deirdre has spent more than three decades serving buyers and sellers throughout Greater Palm Springs. She is strategic in her pricing and has a knack for zeroing in on what makes a home exceptional. Renowned as a real estate matchmaker, Deirdre gets to know both local and overseas clients personally so she can pair them with the community and home that best suits them. Deirdre grew up in Washington DC and moved to the Desert after university and currently lives in Rancho Mirage. Deirdre can recommend top schools and exclusive golf clubs.

Both Susan and Deirdre are dedicated to giving back to the community and have done so for years. Susan’s philanthropic interests include Operation Smile, the Make-a-Wish Foundation, and several other children’s charities. Deirdre is a past board member of the Desert Aids Project, Indio’s ABC Club and the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and is currently the vice president of Water for Flathead’s Future near her Montana ranch.

They bring a combined worth of expertise to the Coachella Valley luxury real estate market. Their sales portfolio includes some of the most iconic properties sold in the desert.
