"Five stars seems to be too few for Carina. Even though I ended up not buying a place, working with Carina was absolutely fantastic. If you are looking for an agent to buy (or sell), Carina is the agent you want on your side. First, Carina is knowledgeable about the SF market. SF has a lot of strange rules and idiosyncrasies and was able to explain the nuances and the market in easy to understand terms. She also knows the neighborhoods well and is able to help you find places that match your wishlist but might be in a different neighborhood than you are looking. Second, Carina is a super professional. She is very responsive, always called ahead to realtors to let them know I was going to stop by to see a place, which was nice and always read the disclosures promptly and surfaced issues that she noted (and was available to discuss them). More importantly, however, Carina never put her interests above mine (even when her commission was dependent on the purchase price). Carina always had my best interests in mind and listened (and took to heart) my reactions to various places. Finally, Carina is an attorney and can take care of any additional legal terms or research anything that might relevant to housing laws and restrictions. "I would highly recommend Carina.When I began the process to buy a house, I did not know where to even begin. I was referred to Carina from friends I thought I should give her a chance. I met with her at her office and she explained the whole process to us. She took it slow and made sure we understood what we were getting into. Carina is an Attorney too and made sure that I understood all details of contractual obligations when submitting an offer and getting into a contract.
