About Carol

Tell Me More!

Buying or selling real estate is akin to curating a chapter in the story of your life. Carol's approach as your agent goes beyond the financial transaction– in this dynamic moment of transition, she is there to guide you at every step.

Carol helps clients buy and sell properties, including first-time homeowners, families moving up, empty nesters looking to downsize, and small business owners dreaming of the perfect live-work property.

For Sellers

Choosing to sell comes with a web of interrelated questions and decisions. Carol takes pride in working with clients at whatever pace is right. Her approach to positioning a property is twofold: storytelling to accentuate the home’s unique value paired with a hyperlocal market strategy. With a designer's eye and a successful track record of maximizing net proceeds, she fluidly moves from preparing your property for the market to skillfully negotiating on your behalf and close the deal.

For Buyers

Finding the 'perfect house' is often iterative; Carol’s process starts by brainstorming with clients to map their needs and dreams and find creative possibilities. Through close observation and dialogue, she advises how to refine the search and write a successful offer. Throughout, she helps navigate the challenges inherent in buying– transforming them into opportunities that lead you home.

Carol became a realtor in 2015 after multiple lifetimes of success as a multi hyphenate designer, including co-founder of Gingko Design Inc., whose clients included Apple, Sony, and Nokia, an interior design manager at Skidmore Owings and Merrill, a color & material strategist for Peugeot and even hand-building houses in the early 1970s.

She has a B.S. in Environmental Design from Art Center College of Design in 1983 and an MFA from California College of Art in 2011.
