About Carolyn

As a member of The Sharp-Hood Group, Carolyn believes in honesty, integrity, and commitment in her approach to her clients' lifestyle and real estate goals. Her authenticity and local knowledge are key to helping first-time home buyers, seasoned home buyers, sellers, or investors achieve their homeownership goals. Carolyn is a Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE) and a Certified Resort and Second Home Specialist (RSPS), making her well equipped to handle the unique demands of the Tahoe-Truckee market. Carolyn manages each transaction with diligence and care, and is committed to fostering trusting relationships with clients as well as her fellow agents.

 Carolyn grew up in Connecticut, attended college in Burlington Vermont. Her love for the outdoors led her to Lake Tahoe in 1999. Carolyn moved to Truckee in 2003. She believes that Truckee has been an idyllic place to raise her 3 children. She is passionate about education and school choice, which inspired her to become a founding parent of the Sierra Expeditionary Learning School.

 When she is not working, you can find Carolyn on the lake or on the trail, paddle boarding, mountain biking, cross country skiing, or running with her dogs Nui and monkey. Her extensive local knowledge of the area and commitment to service after the sale, make her an incredible asset to anyone looking to buy or sell in the Tahoe Truckee market.
