Carolyn grew up in Connecticut and attended college in Burlington Vermont. Her love of the mountains brought her to Colorado where she worked in the ski and service industry as a sales rep and manager. She moved to the San Francisco Bay area in 1997 and managed a North Beach boutique/art gallery. Her passion for the outdoors brought her to Lake Tahoe in 1999. Carolyn and her husband Seamus bought their first home in Truckee in 2003 where they live today with their three children. Whether it is mountain biking, paddleboarding, skate skiing, or running with her dog Nui, Carolyn is passionate about the Tahoe-Truckee lifestyle and all it has to offer. Carolyn believes in service after the sale, and she will gladly share her extensive local knowledge about anything you might need, from home cleaners to electricians, to restaurants and trailheads.
Carolyn is a founding parent of Sierra Expeditionary Learning School and continues her work with the school as an active parent volunteer. She is deeply invested in the Tahoe-Truckee community. Carolyn wholeheartedly believes that Truckee is an idyllic place to live and raise her children.
