About Cathy
Cathy arrives in real estate with a deep passion and knowledge for Brooklyn—a borough she has called home for the last 30 years. As a homeowner who has navigated multiple renovation projects and served as an Airbnb Superhost for six years, Cathy approaches the market with a client-first perspective built on tangible, personal experience. She is deeply invested in the history and architecture of Brooklyn, often seeing untapped opportunities within these historic houses to restore, elevate, and create a warm, welcoming home. For Cathy, real estate is about helping clients not just find a property, but discover the next, most meaningful chapter of their lives in the perfect setting.

Before joining The Scott Klein Team at Compass, Cathy spent 25 years as a Media Executive at Nickelodeon, producing and overseeing some of the world's most well-known kids’ franchises. That intensive career earned her a reputation as an unwavering champion for clients, artists, and colleagues. Cathy leverages a direct communication style, a passion for achieving client needs, and the proven ability to tackle complex, multi-layered projects in a cool, calm, and strategic manner. This foundation in high-stakes negotiations and creative problem-solving ensures that whether her clients are buying, selling, or investing, they benefit from an expert advocate dedicated to achieving seamless results.

Cathy’s commitment to advocacy extends far beyond the transaction. She dedicates her time to meaningful volunteer opportunities and currently serves as a mentor for Free Arts NYC and Braven, supporting high school and college level students in achieving their goals. When she’s not working with clients, you can find her walking through Prospect Park, enjoying time at her summer home in the North Fork, or spending time with her wife and two sons. Cathy is ready to put her decades of strategic experience and deep local knowledge to work for you.
