Cathy LaBrecque

Real estate has always been Cathy’s passion. She has owned and managed multi-family properties, purchased and renovated approximately 20 homes, owned a vacation residence on Lake Winnipesaukee, and worked full-time selling homes since 1997.

Her extensive experience and proven track record in the industry has fueled her ability to help buyers, sellers, investors, and tenants achieve their real estate goals with great success. Cathy strives to provide every client with the highest standard of service, guiding them to make decisions that best satisfy their financial and lifestyle needs.

Co-founder of the Welch and LaBrecque Team (WLTeam) at Compass for the past two years, Cathy and partner Kristi Welch handle every aspect of a transaction. Most important is meeting with a client to figure out the right plan for them, then negotiating skillfully on their behalf to get them optimal value.

Cathy’s fortes are also marketing and staging homes – invaluable services that make a seller’s property shine, attract the most buyers, and result in the highest price. Born in Quincy, MA and raised in Amherst, NH, Cathy graduated from Plymouth State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Education and Psychology. She taught elementary for a short time before pursuing real estate. Cathy specializes in the South Shore market, from Quincy to the Cape. She loves the location for its proximity to the ocean, and to Boston.

The proud Mom of two daughters, Cathy lives in Pembroke, MA. She’s involved with her girls’ sports and activities, and volunteers for school fundraisers and events. In free time some of her favorite things to do include travel, sports, and riding electric bikes.
