About Charlie

Charlie joined The Sue Smith Team in 2006 after a career as a soldier, Army Officer, and Civilian Federal Employee. Charlie brings a wealth of leadership experience and the desire to help you with your real estate needs. In addition, he received his Green designation in 2010 from the National Association of Realtors® and was voted the #1 Best Realtor® in Loudoun County in 2012.

Charlie has lived in Loudoun and Fairfax counties since 1991. His children attended school in Loudoun County. His daughter is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, and his son graduated from James Madison University after serving in the Army and working for Lockheed-Martin. They both live in the DMV area and work in Real Estate related professions. Charlie enjoys the outdoors and is an avid hiker, runner, cyclist, and competitive Age Group Triathlete. He also enjoys lacrosse, having played for many years in Syracuse, New York, and while Active Duty in the Army. He also coached lacrosse in Loudoun County in the 1990s during its formative years.

Charlie has a BA from Syracuse University and an MA from Georgetown University. He is licensed in Virginia as a real estate associate broker and is currently a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, Virginia Association of REALTORS®, the Dulles Area Association of REALTORS®. Charlie specializes in Northern Virginia, with a particular focus on Loudoun, Fairfax, and Prince William Counties.
