Charlie Wood

Charlie has spent over a decade in the real estate business, having worked in both leasing and sales on the Olive Well team, a top team in Chicago, with an additional focus on the North Shore.

After attending Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota, Charlie spent a number of years working as a professional model in cities such as New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Milan, and Cape Town, South Africa. He also spent a year teaching English in China. Shortly after meeting his now wife, Lauren Mitrick Wood, Charlie got his license and joined forces with her to make real estate a family affair. While he continues to model part time, real estate has become his focus as his career moves into the future. In 2018, Charlie was recognized by Chicago Agent Magazine for their annual "Who's Who in Chicago Real Estate" list. More recently, he was recognized in CS Magazine in their feature on luxury agents. 

In 2019 Charlie and Lauren launched Olive Well, quickly turning it into a top producing Chicagoland team of tight knit brokers including Lauren’s parents Frank and Cheryl Mitrick, and a growing number of agents and staff. They combine their experience with Compass’ groundbreaking technological tools and offer ultra customized care for every client and the best possible real estate experience. With an emphasis on design, health and wellness, the brokers of Olive Well strive to strengthen the relationship between home and community.

Charlie grew up in Lake Forest and currently lives in Highland Park with his wife, 2 children- Weston and Blair- and their dog, Cooper. He enjoys such things as cooking, Liverpool soccer, live music, and leading a healthy active lifestyle while traveling to new places.
