Born and raised in the DC metropolitan area, Chelsea Smith is a second generation real estate professional who had a very early introduction to the industry. Her mother became a licensee in 2004, and immediately brought her along for the ride. After helping mom study for the state exam, and learning to write contracts by the age of 16, Chelsea decided to take it a step further. She got her first job doing admin work for a high-volume boutique brokerage in Bethesda, and was promoted to Office Manager by the end of junior year in high school. In her spare time at the office, she even learned to process loans by working closely with 's mortgage partner.
Chelsea balances her love for the business side of real estate with a strong passion for the arts and a keen eye for design. She studied Marketing & Retail at the Savannah College of Art & Design in Atlanta, GA and moved to New York City shortly thereafter to pursue a career in the fashion/beauty industry. Having worked for such luxury brands as Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales, BCBG, and Yves Saint Laurent, Chelsea understands that impeccable service and having the foresight able to anticipate your clients' needs are paramount to building lasting relationships. She takes pride in going the extra mile to accommodate others in order to make each transaction as seamless and efficient as possible.
