About Glenn Chip
Chip holds over 20 years of experience in the residential and commercial real estate industry. As a fourth generation in the family business, Chip was Vice President of Operations of Gardner Realtors, founded by his great grandmother, Mrs. Gertrude Gardner in 1943. Chip naturally fit into his new role bringing forth his strong market expertise and leadership with the same title at Latter & Blum when his family's business merged via acquisition in December 2020.

Chip is the youngest real estate professional in the Gulf South to attain a combination of the following real estate experience, licenses, and designations:

Over the past decade, Chip has been responsible for the day-to-day operations of 5,000+ local real estate transactions in excess of one billion dollars annually. This includes the full spectrum of residential property types - lots/land, single family, multi-family, REO, luxury, amongst others.

Prior to working in the family business, Chip’s extensive consulting experience across the country/world with Duff & Phelps Real Estate Advisory Group - formerly Standard & Poor’s Corporate Value Consulting - provided a strong foundation to attain the prestigious MAI membership, which is awarded to those experienced in the valuation and evaluation of commercial, industrial, residential and other types of properties, and who advise clients on real estate investment decisions. In Chip’s years of consulting experience with investors, private equity firms, pension funds, REITs, Fortune 500 Companies, etc; he has been a Real Estate Advisor for billions of dollars of real estate across all property types.

Chip graduated as The President’s Scholar in Business Administration from Spring Hill College, along with recognition as a top three collegiate business owner by the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards. Chip also earned an MBA in Finance/Real Estate from Louisiana State University.

As a New Orleans native, Chip is active in the local community and enjoys spending time with his family and is passionate about giving back. Chip serves as a board member of The New Orleans Mission Properties Foundation, The Gertrude Gardner Foundation, along with numerous other philanthropic activities. For fun, Chip enjoys cutting loose with a few libations, busting out stellar dance moves, eating at local dives, and cheering on the Fighting Tigers.
