"Chris represented me when I purchased my condo at 1 Hanson Place after helping me sell my Gramercy co-op. Over the years, we as owners watched as Chris almost single-handedly raised the market value of units in the building as they came back onto the market for sale, even through the darker days of the financial crisis. His knowledge, respect and love for our building was infectious to new buyers who likewise now call 1 Hanson home." - JT and LT
"Chris was referred to me as a Brooklyn expert when I was searching for my first apartment to purchase. I wasn’t very familiar with the borough at the time so Chris patiently drove me around for a couple of days as we visited listings in various neighborhoods before I settled on Clinton Hill. He negotiated a purchase price below what I expected to pay and I loved living there for years. When I married my husband, we decided to search for a townhouse in which we could begin our family. Chris sold my apartment quickly, and for more money than we expected, then found the absolute perfect house not too far away. He referred us to top contractors to help us make some alterations and repairs and it is just perfect for us. We have referred Chris several times to friends and colleagues and he likewise found each one of them a dream home of their own. We will continue to consult Chris whenever we need real estate market advice for as long as we stay in New York!" - FM
"My wife and I put our Park Slope townhouse on the market with another realtor who had been highly recommended by a neighbor. We weren’t thrilled with that realtor but Chris brought us a qualified buyer and diplomatically managed the sales process with skills and a temperament that our own realtor was lacking. Very impressive. We will certainly use Chris to help us sell our house and recommend him to our neighbors." - GR and family. RK
"Chris helped us buy and sell our apartment in Brooklyn. We got a good deal when buying, and an unbelievable sale price when we sold. But, better yet, I always knew that I could 100% rely on his word. He is upfront and honest about every detail. He keeps you informed every step away, but doesn't burden you with irrelevant details that he must deal with it on his end. Could not recommend him enough. " - TR, MD
"Believe it or not, there was a time when it was essentially impossible to sell a Brooklyn co-op. Chris sold my apartment during that time. We first put it on the market in September of 2008. He patiently sat out the complete freeze on the NY real estate market. Then he sold it for me in 2010 for a great price. It was so, so hard. My tenant had become hostile and the banks were impossible. But he dug in and made the deal happen. I was perfectly happy to pay the RE commission after that. Thanks Chris!" - KM
"Chris is the consummate professional, combining market expertise, strong Broker experience and intimate knowledge of the "art of the deal." Chris was the steward of both sides of my real estate transaction, having gotten me $200K above asking price on the selling side and $150K below asking price on the buying side - I couldn't be happier. He is honest and straightforward, tells the truth about strengths and weaknesses of properties and is a really good listener - picking up on likes and dislikes, very quickly. Chris possesses a gentle but firm persistence that keeps people talking and keeps deals on track — all while accomplishing closure in a matter of days and not weeks or months. Your experience may take more time than mine, but you will be in a safe, assured and professional pair of hands throughout. " - LC
