As Compass marks its 7th anniversary in Texas, Detwiler + Wood has consistently been the top producing team for Compass across the state since day one.
Chris takes a concierge approach to every transaction. By listening to his clients and understanding their needs and goals, he carefully guides them through all aspects of the buying and selling process. He is approachable and straightforward, making him an ease to work with, while his keen skills in negotiation ensure his clients get the successful results they expect. Through his vast network, Chris has his finger on the pulse of the Dallas market with extensive inside knowledge on private sales and pocket listings. He is also able to maximize exposure and opportunities and leverage the vast marketing resources and network of the Compass brand.

As a former executive in the luxury retail space, Chris was a leader known for adapting to any situation, connecting quickly with clients and colleagues, and driving results. Today, he puts those same skills to work while also combining two of his passions---design and real estate. He is a member of the Detwiler + Wood group, which boasts over $3 Billion in total closed sales and is the largest producing team at Compass in Texas.

Chris is a Texas native was raised in Galveston and earned his Bachelor of business administration from the University of Texas in Austin. A proud Dallas resident for 25 years, Chris loves sharing the city with clients relocating from other parts of the state or country. He knows the city and what makes each Dallas neighborhood unique. He can be found spending time with his extended family and two dogs, traveling, and exploring the local Dallas restaurant scene. He also enjoys staying involved with a number of Dallas charities including the Aging Mind Foundation and the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center.
